JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Financial & Sales Operations Analyst who will be responsible for creating and monitoring financial models and KPI’s to track Company performance, enhance accountability, and provide decision support. The Financial & Sales Operations Analyst will also provide sales operations and systems administration support, including salesforce.com and SharePoint, by supporting customer acquisition and compliance processes, providing internal user resources and training, and ensuring process and systems optimization. The position reports to the CFO and VP of Sales and involves close coordination with senior management and other key personnel primarily in the Finance, Sales and Professional Services organizations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Identify and collect relevant financial data from all applicable business units, processes, and projects
- Prepare internal and external reporting packages including preparing relevant data for presentations to the Board of Directors and investors
- Assist with regular budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop dynamic and user-friendly financial analyses and modeling to enable efficient decision-making
- Assist with ad hoc analysis, benchmarking, and reporting
Systems Administration & Sales Operations
- Own the day-to-day requirements of assigned systems, including fulfilling all reporting and metrics needs, ensuring data integrity, creating standardized dashboards and processes, assisting users with questions and training, and proposing new functionality for potential adoption
- Respond timely to customer onboarding and compliance requirements, coordinating with other teams as needed
- Assist the sales and renewals teams with proposals and quotations
- Develop and manage Sales and Professional Services operations sites on SharePoint
- Develop and maintain standardized policies, procedures, and sales resources
- Proactively identify sales operations process inefficiencies and streamline or automate them
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related major
- MBA or CPA certification preferred
- Software revenue recognition experience required
- 7+ years’ experience working in finance and/or accounting in the high tech industry
- Multi-site/geography experience preferred
- Experience implementing and administering finance applications
- Experience with salesforce.com and SharePoint a plus
- Ability to analyze data with creativity and innovation in mind
- Excellent strategic thinking and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
