About Doss

DOSS is building an Operations Cloud for the real world.

A modern, AI-native platform for physical product businesses to manage the flow of goods, dollars, and data in real time, across:

  • Procurement

  • Inventory

  • Orders

  • Fulfillment

  • Finance

Built to replace spreadsheet chaos and rigid, consultant-heavy ERPs. Fast time-to-value, adaptable as the business evolves.

Through our Adaptive Resource Platform (ARP) and unified operational data model, teams deploy quickly, automate workflows, and make changes without months of re-implementation.

We recently raised a $55M Series B, co-led by Madrona and Premji Invest. Participation from Intuit Ventures, Theory Ventures, General Catalyst, Contrary Capital, and Pathlight VC.

DOSS is trusted by fast-growing operators to run critical operations with speed, control, and confidence.

Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the Role

Doss's FD team is the core engine of how we deliver value to customers. As a Forward Deployed Product Manager, you sit at the intersection of product, operations, data, and client partnership, and are responsible for translating complex business problems into working solutions on the Doss ERP platform.

This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and brings genuine intellectual curiosity to hard operational problems. You'll work directly with client leadership, embed in their workflows, and own the implementation lifecycle from discovery through go-live. You'll also leverage AI tooling as a core part of how you work.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end ERP implementation lifecycles across upper mid-market and enterprise clients, including discovery, product design, configuration, UAT, and go-live

  • Conduct cross-functional deep dives across client organizations to map business processes and surface requirements, and identify the right solution architecture

  • Translate complex operational and financial workflows (flow of goods, information, and money) into data models, product configurations, and integrations on the Doss platform

  • Build new product capabilities within Doss to support enterprise-scale deployments and extend the platform

  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and data migrations

  • Own client relationships at the operator and director level; support senior-led executive relationships and escalations

  • Drive retention and expansion by turning successful implementations into client advocacy

  • Use AI tooling actively and fluently across your workflow and contribute to automation initiatives that improve how the team delivers

What We're Looking For

  • 4-6 years in consulting, technical program management, product operations, or implementation at a technology company; ERP experience is a plus but not required

  • A systems thinker who can traverse interconnected people, process, and technology; you can untangle complex problems and put them back together with clarity

  • High-intensity by genuine preference; you've operated in fast-moving environments (startups, consulting, finance) and that's where you do your best work

  • Technical from first principles; you can work through hard engineering and logic problems intuitively, not by memorization

  • Strong analytical mindset; SQL experience is a plus

  • Fluent with AI tools and excited about applying them to real operational problems

  • Executive presence and communication skills that hold up in client-facing environments at the director level and above

What You'll Get
  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity

  • 100% Coverage for individuals Premium medical, dental & vision coverage

  • 401(k), immediate eligibility

  • Lunch in-office 5 days/week (and dinner when needed)

  • Flexible/unlimited PTO

  • Commuter (BART/MUNI/CalTrain) and equipment stipends

  • Wellness & Fitness stipend

  • Generous parental leave

  • Relocation assistance available

  • In-office culture in San Francisco
