Why Dealops?

AI’s transforming how companies price, sell and scale. The shift towards outcome-based, usage-based, and hybrid pricing models has unlocked a $25B+ market, demanding smarter solutions across pricing, deal execution, and sales compensation. Led by ex-Stripe operators and backed by Pear VC, General Catalyst, and execs from OpenAI, Stripe and Slack with $7M in funding, Dealops is a pioneering AI‑driven platform that enables flexible pricing, streamline workflows and boost sales performance.

The opportunity

As our Founding Account Manager, you'll own the post-sale relationship with the most innovative AI and enterprise software companies building on Dealops. Once a customer signs, you're the person who makes them successful, sticky, and growing. You'll own retention, drive expansion, and turn early adopters into champions who can't imagine running pricing without us.

This is our first dedicated post-sale hire. You won't inherit a playbook for renewals, QBRs, or expansion motions, you'll write it. You'll partner directly with our CEO and GTM lead to define what world-class account management looks like at Dealops and build the foundation for how we retain and grow revenue as we scale.

This is an in-person role based in our San Francisco office.

If you've thrived in early-stage, high-ownership roles and are excited to own a book of business from day one while building the systems others will run on, this is your moment.

  • Full-ownership of the book – retention, expansion, and renewals end-to-end, no hand-offs

  • Founding CS/AM impact – build the playbooks for onboarding, QBRs, and expansion

  • Customer obsession – partner with Heads of Pricing, RevOps, and Finance to drive real value

  • Cross-functional partnership – feed customer insights directly into Product and GTM bets

What you'll own
  • Build the AM playbook: Codify what works, onboarding flows, expansion triggers, health scoring, renewal motions, into repeatable systems the team will scale on.

  • Deepen customer relationships: Become the trusted advisor to Heads of Pricing, RevOps, and Finance leaders. Run QBRs, executive check-ins, and health reviews that keep Dealops embedded in how they operate.

  • Drive expansion: Identify whitespace across usage, teams, and use cases. Build the upsell and cross-sell motion that grows accounts from first contract to enterprise-wide deployment.

  • Collaborate deeply: Work hand-in-hand with GTM, Product, and Engineering to close expansion deals, resolve issues fast, and turn customer feedback into roadmap bets.

What makes you a fit

  • 3–5 years in a client-facing role such as Account Management, Customer Success, or post-sale ownership at a fast-growing B2B SaaS or AI startup

  • Proven track record owning retention and expansion, carrying a renewal or NRR/quota number and hitting it

  • Experience growing mid-market or enterprise accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder relationships across RevOps, Finance, and Sales

  • Exceptional business intuition and the ability to connect product capabilities to customer outcomes

  • Excited by the ambiguity and pace of early-stage environments; you thrive when building from zero

  • Bonus: Experience with B2B Pricing, CPQ, GTM, or RevOps tools — but attitude and curiosity beat exact background

What we offer

  • Competitive salary + early stage equity

  • Medical, dental, vision

  • Unlimited PTO (really)

  • Daily team lunch & snacks
