About the company
Our client is a seed-stage AI company building a workforce of AI agent teammates for businesses. Backed by experienced investors, the company is creating an AI platform that helps customers put capable agents to work in real operating workflows.
The role
We are hiring the company’s first Founding BizOps team member. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for a generalist who can move from strategy to execution, build useful AI agents, and own important company problems from start to finish. You will work closely with the COO and founders as the business grows.
What you'll do
• Own high-priority special projects across recruiting, growth, customer activation, pricing, sales operations, and customer decks.
• Build AI agents on the platform for both customers and internal teams.
• Turn customer and operating learnings into reusable agent templates and repeatable workflows.
• Define and track company metrics that help the team make better decisions.
• Onboard customers and help them realize value from their agents.
• Work directly with the COO and founders to solve ambiguous business problems through strategy and execution.


Requirements

What we're looking for
• 0 to 5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, founding, or operations, growth, or business operations at a strong seed through Series C startup.
• A record of standout achievement, demonstrated through promotions, measurable results, building something durable, a strong prior employer, or academic excellence.
• Proven hands-on experience building AI agents or agent-based workflows that produced operational results.
• Strong analytical, written, and customer communication skills.
• Sustained ownership, practical judgment, and comfort doing the detailed work required to move a business forward.
• Willingness to work full time, five days onsite in San Francisco.
Bonus points
• Founder or early-stage startup experience.
• A strong academic record.
• Experience improving customer activation, pricing, sales operations, or recruiting processes.


Benefits

Compensation and benefits
• Base salary of $170K to $300K, based on experience.
• Meaningful equity.
• Relocation support of up to $15K.
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Location and work model
• Five days per week onsite in San Francisco’s Financial District.
• Full-time role with no hybrid option.
• Visa sponsorship and transfers are available.
