Company Overview

At Skild AI, we are building the world's first general purpose robotic intelligence that is robust and adapts to unseen scenarios without failing. We believe massive scale through data-driven machine learning is the key to unlocking these capabilities for the widespread deployment of robots within society. Our team consists of individuals with varying levels of experience and backgrounds, from new graduates to domain experts. Relevant industry experience is important, but ultimately less so than your demonstrated abilities and attitude. We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to explore uncharted waters and contribute to our innovative projects.

Position Overview

We're looking for an ambitious, multidisciplinary designer with exceptional taste, strong creative instincts, and the drive to help shape Skild AI's brand. As our Founding Brand Design Intern, you'll work hands-on across graphic design, motion, 3D, and AI-powered creative production, with meaningful ownership from day one.

For the right person, this internship could evolve into a full-time role owning and advancing Skild's brand and creative direction.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate the brand: Refine Skild's visual language and deliver distinctive, polished work across web, social, presentations, and campaigns.
  • Design and animate: Create graphics, typography, layouts, 2D motion, 3D renders, and product storytelling.
  • Build AI creative pipelines: Experiment with generative tools and coding agents to establish repeatable workflows for image, video, animation, and production.
  • Support production: Contribute to photo/video shoots, post-production, asset management, and external creative coordination.
  • Take ownership: Carry work from concept to final delivery, spot gaps, and proactively raise the quality bar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional taste and trend leadership: A standout portfolio, a sharp understanding of emerging design trends, and the creative vision to shape what comes next, not simply follow what exists.
  • 3D: Proficiency in modeling, rendering, lighting, and animation (Blender, Cinema 4D, Claude Code / Codex, or equivalent).
  • Motion: 2D animation, motion graphics, and basic compositing (After Effects, Claude Code / Codex, or equivalent).
  • Graphic design: Image creation and manipulation, typography, and layout (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Claude Code / Codex, or equivalent).
  • AI fluency: Hands-on experience with emerging creative tools, coding agents, and workflow automation.
  • High agency: Resourcefulness, initiative, and the ambition to grow into an outsized brand leadership role.

We care more about the quality of your work, your instincts, and your potential than years of experience.
