About Broccoli

At Broccoli, we're building AI teammates for the people who build and maintain our world.

We partner with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors, the hardworking businesses that keep homes and communities running, and replace fragmented software and repetitive manual work with AI that actually gets the job done.

Our AI teammates answer phones, book appointments, follow up with customers, recover missed revenue, and help contractors deliver exceptional customer experiences, all while integrating seamlessly with platforms like ServiceTitan.

Before we wrote a single line of code, we visited more than 140 contractors to understand how these businesses truly operate. That firsthand experience shaped everything we've built.

Today:

  • Hundreds of contractors rely on Broccoli every day.

  • We've grown to $15M+ ARR in under two years.

  • We're trusted by everyone from independent contractors to some of the largest private equity backed operators in the home services industry.

  • We're backed by Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator.

We're still just getting started.

The Role

Home services is one of the most PE-consolidated industries in the country. Hundreds of HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and garage rollups are backed by firms actively hunting for the operational levers that move EBITDA. AI is the largest lever to come along in a generation, and Broccoli is how those businesses pull it.

We are growing fast. We already work with the largest PE groups in home services and have built deep expertise in AI value creation. Now we are scaling rapidly, and this role is at the center of that growth. You will take those insights and that reputation across the broader ecosystem, establishing Broccoli as the first name every PE partner and portfolio CEO reaches for when AI comes up for home services.

You will work directly with Broccoli's CEO and leadership team, building from the ground up the relationships that will shape how the entire PE ecosystem thinks about AI in the trades. If you have built credibility in demanding environments and know how to create access, earn trust, and turn new connections into lasting relationships, this role was made for you.

What You'll Do
  • Own the PE relationship engine: Identify and build relationships from the ground up with the GPs, operating partners, and value creation teams that matter most in home services, cultivating and deepening them so Broccoli is the first call when AI comes up

  • Turn relationships into momentum: Understand each firm’s priorities, connect them to where Broccoli can create real value across the portfolio, and turn promising conversations into the right meetings and qualified opportunities.

  • Work directly with our CEO: Partner on the highest-stakes PE relationships, owning the prep, the narrative, and the follow-through on every conversation that matters

  • Own the value creation narrative: Tailor Broccoli’s story to what each firm cares about, translating on-the-ground impact into the EBITDA, ROI, and transformation stories sponsors need to champion Broccoli internally.

  • Own our events strategy: Decide which conferences and summits Broccoli attends and which ones we host, and partner with our team to execute the dinners and gatherings that put the right people in the room

What We're Looking For
  • 5–7 years in consulting, investment banking, or private equity; you have the analytical rigor, commercial judgment, and executive credibility to earn the trust of GPs, operating partners, and portfolio leaders

  • An outgoing, relationship-oriented style and genuine energy for meeting new people; you know how to build a network in new ecosystems through alumni and professional circles, events, introductions, and thoughtful outreach

  • An exceptional academic and professional track record across rigorous, high-performing environments

  • The ability to turn operational data into a compelling EBITDA story and put it in front of a CFO or PE partner with confidence

  • Strong executive presence; you hold your own at the top of the house and know how to make a room trust you quickly

  • Judgment about which firms, relationships, and markets to prioritize; you don't chase everything, and you know the difference between a relationship worth building and one that will never convert

  • Comfort operating without heavy process in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where you will be expected to create structure, not follow it

  • Willingness to travel as needed

Bonus
  • Startup or early-stage company experience where you built something from scratch
