About Chasi

Every building, road, warehouse, and farm runs on equipment like tractors, cranes, forklifts, etc. Over 100K dealers and rental companies across North America keep those machines bought, sold, rented, and serviced, but most still operate on phone calls, paper, and decades-old software, with fewer people to do the work every year.

Chasi is building the future of equipment commerce. We help dealers and rental companies sell faster, respond to customers around the clock, and keep machines in the field instead of sitting in a shop or a yard. This is one of the biggest opportunities to bring real-world AI to an industry that software has barely touched. We're based in San Francisco, backed by YCombinator and other top investors, and already working with CAT, John Deere, Bobcat, and other top OEM dealers.

The Role

First go-to-market hire. You own revenue - finding customers and closing them. Outbound, inbound, conferences, demos, contracts. You'll write the playbook while you're running it. As we grow, this becomes a GTM leadership role.

What You'll Do

  • Become an expert in how equipment dealers and rental companies operate - so you're a consultant, not a salesperson
  • Find customers through LinkedIn, email, cold calls, trade shows, and conferences
  • Run the full cycle - first calls, demos, negotiation, close
  • Help build a repeatable sales process from scratch
  • Work with founders to sharpen positioning based on what you're hearing in the market

What We're Looking For

No specific industry or years-of-experience requirement. What matters:

  • You're resourceful and competitive - you figure things out, move fast, and don't wait to be told what to do
  • You communicate clearly whether you're on the phone with a shop manager in Texas or in a boardroom in New York
  • You're fun to work with, you want to build and lead a team, and you'll put in the work to get there

Comp & Details

  • Base salary + uncapped commission
  • Early-stage equity
  • In-person, San Francisco
  • Reports directly to the founder
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $80,000 – $140,000 per year.
