About Marble

Marble is building the new operating system for youth mental health by connecting schools, therapists, and health plans on a single platform to unlock access to care today and raise the standard of care for tomorrow.

Last year, 1 in 10 teens attempted suicide. At the heart of this crisis is a severe lack of access to quality, affordable care. When kids can't get help, problems compound and preventable tragedies follow. Marble partners directly with school counselors to get students into care quickly by connecting them to licensed therapists through the insurance coverage they already have, with no waitlists.

We're an early-stage, fast-moving team. The people who join now will shape how we build and what we build.

About the Role

We have channels that are working — cold outreach to counselors, staff workshops — but they have room to grow. You'll take ownership of them, make them perform, and expand into new territory: ed tech partnerships, direct acquisition, and beyond. You'll set clear success metrics before each experiment, analyze results rigorously, and make fast, well-reasoned calls on what to scale.

This is Marble's first marketing hire. You'll build the demand gen foundation that drives school partnership growth by getting into the details, moving quickly, and taking full ownership of what you ship.

You'll sit at the intersection of growth and execution, with a direct line to leadership and a mandate to build the marketing function from scratch.

This role is hybrid, with three days per week in our SoHo, New York City office.

What You'll Do
  • Own and optimize existing growth channels, including outbound email to school counselors and staff workshop programs

  • Design and run experiments on new acquisition channels — define the hypothesis, set success criteria upfront, analyze results, and scale or kill accordingly

  • Build the sequences, messaging frameworks, and targeting infrastructure that make outreach repeatable and scalable

  • Explore new channels (ed-tech partnerships, paid acquisition, referral programs, and others) and build the investment case for what works

  • Manage contractors and external vendors to extend capacity without adding headcount

  • Translate channel performance into clear recommendations for where Marble should invest next

Who You Are
  • 6+ years of experience in growth, demand gen, or early-stage marketing, with meaningful time at a startup where you built something from scratch

  • You've been an early or founding marketer before, or played a comparable 0-to-1 role and have results to show for it

  • You understand SMB and mid-market demand gen: the channels, the unit economics, and the traps

  • Analytically strong. You can design a clean experiment, interrogate a funnel, and make a fast prioritization call with incomplete data

  • You've managed contractors or external partners to get things shipped

  • Low ego and outcome-obsessed with no preferred playbook, just whatever the problem demands

  • Comfortable moving fast and making decisions without perfect information

  • Mission-driven and energized by improving access to mental health care for kids

Why Marble
  • Direct impact on kids' mental health access — this work is meaningful

  • Greenfield opportunity to build something from the ground up, with leadership support and a clear growth path

  • Small, experienced team that moves fast and takes the work seriously

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and equity

Compensation

Marble compensates at market for a founding team member taking on a high-ownership, high-impact role. We believe in paying people what the role is worth without making them negotiate for it. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, meaningful equity, and full benefits.

Base salary range: $150K – $170K
