About Vega

The $250B insurance claims industry runs on fax machines, phone tag, and adjusters buried in paperwork. Cycle times stretch for months. Data is locked in legacy systems. And the workforce is aging out faster than it's being replaced.

Vega is the premier AI-native claims TPA built to replace that entire stack. Our team is equal parts experienced insurance operators and modern technologists. We care deeply about delivering superior outcomes for our clients, and we want builders that get their hands dirty shipping solutions that move the needle.

Our results: 10x YoY revenue growth, and on track for $XXM run-rate in under 2 years. Backed by marquee VCs like General Catalyst, Lightspeed and Valor.

The Role

As an SDR on our growing sales team, you will play a key role in driving the outbound engine behind Vega's growth.

You will work closely with leadership and our Account Executives to generate pipeline, refine our messaging, and sharpen the playbook as the team scales. This is an opportunity for someone who loves the energy of outbound and wants a fast path to AE or GTM leadership as the team grows.

You'll engage senior decision-makers across carriers, MGAs, and claims organizations, opening conversations about how AI can modernize one of the most critical functions in insurance.

We believe there's real value in being together as a team. We come into our New York City office 4 days per week, which gives us space to collaborate, move quickly, and build strong relationships with the people we work alongside.

What You'll Do
  • Target and engage carriers and MGAs, generating pipeline for high-value, AI-native claims solutions

  • Own your outbound motion end-to-end, including cold calls, email automation, LinkedIn, and conferences

  • Build and expand target lists, sharpening our ICP across the commercial insurance landscape

  • Run discovery to qualify high-value opportunities and turn first conversations into real ARR

  • Partner with leadership and our Account Executives to refine messaging, test what works, and sharpen our sales playbook

  • Optimize your workflow and tooling to get the most out of every hour

  • Represent Vega at industry events and conferences (travel required)

Who You Are
  • 1–2+ years in SDR, business development, or another performance-driven GTM role, with a proven track record of generating outbound pipeline

  • You prioritize speed and action, above all else, and see rejection as opportunity

  • Genuinely curious about AI and how it reshapes traditional industries, and able to explain complex AI value propositions clearly and confidently to senior insurance executives

  • You think in systems and thrive on high-volume outbound in a fast-growing startup

  • Owner mentality: you take accountability for outcomes, not just activity

  • Nice to have: experience in InsurTech or FinTech

Benefits
  • Competitive Salary

  • Equity - giving you direct stake in the future of an AI-native industry leader.

  • Top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • 401k with company match.

  • Flexible PTO and a work from home stipend.

  • A fast-paced, high-talent density team that values transparency and shipping fast.
