The role

Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Join as a Founding Software Engineer and own software across factory operations, automation, and simulation. You will act as a product engineer, identifying problems and delivering solutions independently.

What you'll do

- Build systems for supply chain, quoting, pricing, inventory, and production flow.

- Develop simulation tools using manufacturing data.

- Ingest equipment telemetry and orchestrate automation.

- Build data models that represent physical manufacturing processes.

- Work with hardware and automation engineers on end-to-end solutions.

- Identify product priorities, set goals, and ship production software.


Requirements

What we're looking for

- 2+ years of experience shipping production-grade software.

- Full-stack TypeScript experience with Python or Go backend skills.

- Ability to own products and technical decisions end to end.

- Experience designing backend systems that model real-world processes.

- Comfort working independently through ambiguity and defining user needs.

- Ability to meet the client's applicable export-control eligibility requirements.

Bonus points

- Manufacturing software, automation, or factory exposure.

- CAD, computational geometry, or 3D systems experience.

- Data engineering or simulation experience.


Benefits

Compensation and benefits

- Base salary: USD 140,000 to 200,000 per year.

- Equity: 0.2% to 1.0%.

- Relocation support.

- Meals and productivity tools are covered.

- A signing bonus may be considered.

Location and work model

- Los Angeles, California, United States.

- Five days per week onsite.
