The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join as an early engineer who builds a software platform from the ground up for production users. You will own products from first concept through launch, shape the AI services and data foundations behind them, and collaborate closely with commercial colleagues and customers.
What you'll do
- Design and ship production AI services, including agent-style workflows and retrieval pipelines, for external business customers.
- Model data and build scalable pipelines that the platform depends on.
- Own features and whole products from zero to one with full autonomy over results.
- Partner with the go-to-market team and join customer calls when it helps move the product forward.
- Turn direct customer feedback into fast, continuous platform improvements.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Experience building AI systems with large language models end to end in production.
- Background in a startup, founding or zero-to-one ownership setting; a small startup is fine.
- Degree in computer science, mathematics or an equivalent technical field.
- Undergraduate degree from a university in the US, UK, Canada, Australia or Europe.
- Comfort designing database structures and reasoning about systems that run across many machines.
- Strong Python skills or proficiency in a similar language.

- Base salary: USD 130,000 to 180,000 per year
