What is Perceptis?

Perceptis AI is a team of ex-FAANG engineers and elite consultants set out to give superpowers to the century-old consulting industry by harnessing AI. We automate archaic and manual, yet high-value consulting processes to help boutique consulting firms generate more revenue and scale non-linearly. Our flagship product enables our customers to win more business with automated, tailored, MBB-grade proposals with a quick turnaround for all of their prospects.

Here is the latest announcement from Business Insider on our $3.6M raise, led by Streamlined Ventures (investors in DoorDash, AppLovin), along with TEKTON & FEBE Ventures, The House Fund (investors in Databricks, Flexport), MOST Ventures, Silkroad Innovation Hub, as well as with prominent angels, including founders at unicorn startups in professional services and executives in big tech companies.

We've recently 2x-ed our ARR, helping even more firms send 2-3x more proposals and get 100% boost in revenue. We are hiring in SF Bay Area to keep up with accelerated growth.

Why join Perceptis?
  • We care about thoughtful design and robust software engineering.

  • We are solving hard problems with a huge, overlooked, and underserved market and impact opportunity on the other side.

  • We are a small team of builders and intend to keep it this way. Previously, we were at McKinsey, Google, Amazon, Meta, and Apple.

  • We love moving fast — action produces information.

What you will work on
  • Designing and implementing end-to-end user-facing features and experiences.

  • Design and implement multi-step AI workflows for consulting processes

  • Architect systems & infrastructure with reliability, privacy, and performance from the ground up

  • Experiment with and fine-tune existing ML models to find the right balance between size, accuracy and speed.

  • Solving engineering and product challenges that arise from translating new research ideas into production software.

  • Design benchmarks and evaluations to improve our understanding of data and model performance.

Must haves
  • Based in SF Bay Area/Greater Seattle Area and available to work in-person in Sunnyvale/Greater Seattle Area

  • High level of autonomy and self-direction. Ability to take a long view of the world, but remain hyper-focused on moving the needle every day.

  • 4+ years of experience building production software. Strong CS and engineering fundamentals.

  • Proficiency with Python, ReactJS. Understanding of the modern web stack + infrastructure (Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure).

  • Deep familiarity with the state-of-the-art LLMs and their strengths/weaknesses.

  • Good intuition for making technical, product, and business tradeoffs.

  • Ability to think holistically about “product”, and obsess over details that drive premium experience for our customers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (we’ll request samples).

Nice to haves
  • Experience building production-grade RAG/knowledge base grounding for LLM, hallucination mitigation, LLM output validation, evaluations stack

  • Experience doing 0-to-1 engineering work at either startups or personal projects.

  • You have deeply thought about or tinkered with LLM/LAM models — agents that can reason and perform actions to accomplish tasks.

  • Experience working at early-stage and fast-growing companies. Ideally, former founder/CTO/VP of engineering-level experience. (ps. if you’ve read Peter Kazanjy’s excellent Founding Sales, he is also our investor)
