This is a Freelance/Temp role ranging from 12/7/26-4/30/27 covering a leave of absence. The ideal candidate will onboard/train for two weeks in December and return early to mid January.

This role can be remote as long as it's based in the US and doesn't require a VISA. This role will work pacific standard hours.

Rate of pay will be based on experience, skills and location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Plan the measurement

■     Identify campaign KPIs and build projections of results based on campaign parameters

■     Partner with Media, Ad Operations and Communications before launch so the right tracking, tagging and measurement methodologies are in place

Own the data

■     Load, organize and manage raw data in Snowflake from online and offline advertising, website tracking, and consumer demographic and behavioral sources

■     Maintain data tables and reporting structures as campaigns change, so reporting stays accurate and current

■     Drive data hygiene and the continued development of our data management and reporting systems

■     Be the go-to person the Marketing Science team leans on to manage and troubleshoot BSSP’s data stack (Snowflake, Tableau)

Tell the story

■     Integrate data across platforms to show how a client’s business is performing: What’s working? What’s not? What do we recommend they do about it?

■     Build and update interactive dashboards and visualizations for internal teams and clients

■     Evaluate media performance and bring initial optimization recommendations to Media and Communications teams

■     Support survey analysis, segmentation, web analytics and secondary research as needed

■     Represent Marketing Science and BSSP on cross-agency teams

WHAT EXCELLENCE LOOKS LIKE

■     Campaigns launch with tracking verified up front, not patched after the fact

■     Dashboards are trusted: accurate, current, and actually used by our teams and clients

■     Every analysis lands with a point of view presented as a compelling story, never just a data dump

■     When the data stack breaks, the team turns to you first, and you fix the root cause

■     Clients and agency teams depend on you to get it done with autonomy

WHAT YOU BRING

■     3–5 years of experience working with marketing and web analytics data, or proven competency with similar datasets

■     MS in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Psychology or another quantitative field preferred

■     Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Python, Excel and Google Sheets

■     Proficiency administering and querying databases (e.g., Snowflake)

■     Strength in cleaning, transforming, merging and analyzing large, complex datasets

■     Experience with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads/SA360 and Campaign Manager 360

■     Strong logical thinking and the ability to implement technical solutions

■     A curious, creative mindset, a continuous desire to learn, and a critical eye for detail

■     Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the confidence to present to clients
