EyeTell is a new startup brought to you by Chad Hurley, the Co-Founder and former CEO of YouTube. We are building something new at the intersection of AI and mixed media and are looking for a passionate and experienced frontend Web Developer with an eye for design to join our small team.

You will be joining at the ground floor, which is an exciting time! However, because of this, we expect teammates to be in the office most of the time, so if you seek remote-only or remote-mostly, this is not the droid you are looking for.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. You will work closely with our team to create high-quality, user-friendly applications. With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain web applications

  • Write clean, maintainable code

  • Debug and troubleshoot web applications

  • Work directly with the company founder to understand requirements

  • Integrate with third-party APIs

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest web technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience as a Web Developer/Designer

  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining and/or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript

  • Expertise in modern Next.js and React

  • Experience building UI toolkits and familiarity with GraphQL

  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

  • Experience with DevOps tools and comfortable using CI/CD

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
