About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join a small engineering group as a hands-on full-stack engineer with broad ownership, diagnosing issues and shipping improvements to production. Build backend services, integrations, automation and user-facing experiences, partnering closely with technical leadership and operations.

What you'll do

- Own and scale a system that sources and reaches specialized audiences through several acquisition channels.

- Build and extend a public API that partner companies integrate with.

- Build and improve automated agents that screen people through voice and chat, assess their work and flag fraud, and make their behavior reliable and reviewable.

- Develop marketplace systems for matching, pricing, estimation and repeat engagement, using results from completed work to refine them.

- Design and build user-facing workflows such as onboarding, instructions, ongoing tasks and payments, collaborating with users and operations to remove friction.

- Take responsibility for production behavior, investigating failures across the application, background jobs and third-party services.

- Partner with technical leadership to shape architecture for autonomous agents and real-time voice features.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience, taking open-ended problems from investigation to a working product.

- Strong skills in TypeScript and Postgres, and willingness to pick up unfamiliar areas of the stack.

- Experience with large language models, voice AI agents or evaluation methods.

- Effective use of AI coding tools, with responsibility for reviewing and testing your own output.

- Interest in marketplace dynamics such as matching, routing, pricing and network effects.

- Self-direction in an environment with broad scope and little upfront specification, including direct contact with end users.

- Ability to get up to speed quickly and begin shipping independently early on.
