Key Responsibilities:
Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance Engineering
- Architect, configure, and optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, FAH and procurement) to support enterprise-scale finance and accounting operations.Architect, configure, and optimize Oracle FCCS(Financial Consolidation and Close) within EPM cloud.
- Lead end-to-end enhancement cycles including requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, and hypercare support.
- Design and manage Oracle OTBI, FRS, and Smart View reporting frameworks; build curated datasets and semantic layers to support self-service finance analytics.
- Develop and maintain Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)/Boomi and REST/SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Financials and adjacent systems (e.g., ADP, Concur, Treasury, Procurement platforms).
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to streamline the monthly close, accelerate audit cycles, and eliminate manual touchpoints through automation.
- Ensure data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and audit-readiness across all financial data flows.
AI & Intelligent Automation
- Design and deploy AI-powered solutions - including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and LLM-assisted workflows - embedded directly into Oracle Finance processes.
- Build and productionize Agentic AI for use cases such as invoice creation, variance forecasting, duplicate detection, and audit risk scoring.
- Integrate generative AI capabilities (e.g., LLM-based document extraction, natural language query layers) to augment finance team productivity and reduce manual analysis burden.
- Develop AI-assisted reconciliation and journal entry validation pipelines, reducing error rates and accelerating the financial close cycle.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI tools and frameworks appropriate for finance automation, working with Data Engineering on scalable model deployment.
Analytics, Reporting & Data
- Design and maintain Oracle OTBI dashboards connected to Oracle Cloud data sources, supporting FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, and Treasury reporting needs.
- Develop and govern SQL-based data models, extract-transform-load pipelines, and semantic layers to ensure reliable, performant, and auditable data foundations.
- Translate complex financial data into accessible, actionable visualizations for non-technical stakeholders including CFO-level reporting.
- Own documentation of critical metrics, KPI logic, and lineage to support data governance and regulatory compliance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as the senior technical liaison between Finance, Accounting, FP&A, IT, Data Engineering, and Procurement - translating business requirements into technical architecture and delivery roadmaps.
- Document business process workflows, identify automation opportunities and pain points, and lead resolution initiatives with measurable impact on efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor junior engineers and analysts; establish engineering best practices, code standards, and testing protocols for the Finance Technology team.
- Provide ongoing operational support for live Oracle Cloud environments, including troubleshooting data issues, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud implementation, finance systems engineering with a strong focus on supporting Finance & Accounting partners.
- Deep domain expertise in Finance & Accounting operations, including month-end close cycles, reconciliation, audit readiness, AP/AR, and strategic financial reporting.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, OTBI).
- Certification in Oracle Cloud Financials is highly desirable; additional credentials in AI or data engineering are considered a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
