Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead and develop the global application team (in Asia, US, and Europe), including capability building, talent development, resource allocation, and performance management.
•    Define and execute the global application strategy in alignment with the business strategy, technology roadmap, and long-term growth priorities.
•    Lead engagement with OEMs, fabricators, and other value-chain partners across consumer electronics, AI data centers, industrial, and other strategic markets to understand unmet needs and translate them into material and application requirements.
•    Partner with Commercial, Business Development, R&D, Manufacturing to evaluate market opportunities, identify emerging technology trends, and prioritize the product and application development portfolio.
•    Be part of new product development cycles by leading the team to provide rapid prototyping to customer and frequent interaction with stakeholders
•    Develop and manage a global application opportunity pipeline, establishing clear priorities, milestones, ownership, resource requirements, and expected business impact.
•    Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, translating market intelligence into differentiated value propositions, product positioning, and sustainable competitive advantages.
•    Communicate application strategy, project status, technical risks, resource needs, and business opportunities clearly to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

•    Master’s degree or above in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or related field.
•    At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, including significant experience in laminate materials, printed circuit boards, electronics materials, or closely related applications.
•    Demonstrated experience leading regional or global technical teams and developing talent across multiple geographies.
•    The successful candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies on fast time scales and a team-player that can work in multi-disciplinary, cross-geographic teams.
•    Proven ability to translate customer and market requirements into technical programs, product-development priorities, and commercially relevant solutions.
•    Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, problem-solving, and program-management capabilities.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, concise, and persuasive presentations to customers and senior management.
•    Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment.
•    Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
