The Difference You Will Make: 

As a Programs Lead you'll support programs that connect our Community Team to key business and brand initiatives. Your key responsibilities, including program planning and project management, will help to ensure our team stays aligned and on track to deliver high quality work and impact for our hosts. 

A Typical Day: 

  • Support Strategy Development 
    • Work closely with Senior Program Leads and Strategists to inform program strategy 
    • Ensure strategies are aligned with business priorities throughout the duration of program 
  • Manage Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop project plans and based on a program strategy
    • Create detailed schedules, timelines, and budgets for programs
    • Schedule regular working team meetings, take notes and track action items 
  • Lead Reporting and Documentation
    • Track project progress and prepare status reports
    • Document learnings and share best practices across teams
    • Manage program performance and measurement
  • Own Program Operations and Team Logistics
    • Collaborate with BizOps team on connecting Global Program Team to internal tools and processes
    • Build team culture and skills by setting up internal programs 

Establish center of operational excellence 

  • Define systems and operations that extend to other Project Managers across the team 
  • Mentor and guide other Project Managers on the team in best practices

Your Expertise: 

  • 10+ years experience in project management  
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with extraordinary attention to detail
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Asana)
  • Experience with budget tracking and vendor management
  • Fluency in AI tools to optimize workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects
  • Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Able to work autonomously when given direction 
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and proactively operates with a bias for action

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity and also be willing to work PST hours. How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
