This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

We also believe businesses have a meaningful role to play in creating positive societal change.

Adyen Giving is our flagship social impact product, enabling businesses to seamlessly integrate charitable giving into their payment experience. Since launch, hundreds of businesses have collectively raised tens of millions of dollars through Giving, and we're now entering our next phase of growth.

Our ambition is bold: to facilitate €100 million in processed donations through Adyen Giving by 2030.

To achieve this, we're looking for a Global Giving Lead to drive commercial growth, deepen customer partnerships, shape product evolution, and position Giving as a core part of Adyen's value proposition worldwide.
The Opportunity

This is a high-visibility, commercially strategic leadership role within Adyen's Impact team. As Global Giving Lead, you will serve as the commercial owner driving the global growth strategy, pipeline, and market adoption for one of Adyen's most unique products.

In this role, you will enjoy significant autonomy, global scope, and direct exposure to executive leaders across Commercial, Product, and regional teams. You will collaborate with many of the world's top brands to expand Giving across international markets, translate merchant feedback into product innovations, and ensure Giving creates sustainable value for enterprise customers, non-profit partners, and Adyen.
What You'll Do

  • Own and grow the global Giving pipeline: Develop and execute the commercial strategy to grow Adyen Giving globally, driving adoption across existing and prospective enterprise merchants and contributing towards our ambition of facilitating €100 million in processed donations by 2030.
  • Grow strategic customer relationships: Partner with some of Adyen's largest global customers to help them launch, expand and optimize their Giving programs. Identify opportunities to increase donation volume through new markets, campaigns and customer engagement.
  • Shape the future of Giving: Work closely with Product to influence the roadmap based on merchant needs and market insights. Translate customer feedback into scalable product improvements and commercial opportunities.
  • Drive commercial enablement: Partner with regional Commercial teams to ensure Giving is understood, positioned effectively and embedded into customer conversations. Develop sales enablement, best practices and commercial playbooks that help teams grow Giving consistently around the world.
  • Represent Giving internally and externally: Become the global expert and ambassador for Adyen Giving. Help shape planning and direction for Giving among the Commercial Org and Leadership. Support executive customer conversations, speak at customer events where appropriate and help establish Adyen Giving as the leading enterprise donation solution.
  • Build scalable ways of working: Improve internal processes, reporting and governance that enable Giving to scale efficiently as adoption continues to grow.

Who You Are

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise partnerships, commercial leadership, business development, sales or account management.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience driving measurable business growth and affinity with social impact, corporate philanthropy, sustainability or the nonprofit sector.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills in an ever changing environment.
  • Proven track record of growing strategic enterprise customer relationships with an entrepreneurial mindset and track record of building and scaling new initiatives and experience working cross-functionally across Product, Commercial, Marketing and Operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify growth opportunities and outstanding communication and storytelling skills.
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and leading executive customer conversations.
  • Travel is an integral part of this role. Regular travel (domestic and international) is required to engage with customers, partners, and Adyen teams.
  • During the onboarding period, we expect significant time to be spent in Amsterdam to build strong internal relationships with the Global Impact, Commercial, and Product teams and to gain deep familiarity with Adyen’s culture, product, and partnerships approach.

The annual base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $242,000 in New York, plus RSUs; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.
