About the team and the role: 

eBay Live is a new way to sell on eBay, where sellers and buyers interact live on video. eBay sellers build buyer trust, expand their customer base, and grow repeat business through consistent and engaging live streams on eBay Live. eBay buyers can view, chat, ask questions, give feedback, vote, and buy online during eBay Live selling. 

We are looking for a Global Head of Seller Success who can join this exciting growing team to build and lead a best-in-class Seller Success Organization.

What you will accomplish:

  • Build and Lead a Best-in-Class Seller Success Organization:

    • Develop and implement a world-class seller success framework to support and scale global seller operations.

  • Execute the Salesforce Solution: 

    • Implement and optimize the Salesforce solution to track cohorts of sellers through the onboarding journey from pipeline through onboarding, activation, and account management.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: 

    • Work with product, marketing, business development, and support teams to enhance seller tools, address needs, and drive platform improvements.

  • Facilitate Onboarding Journey Across Departments: 

    • Ensure seamless coordination between departments to optimize seller onboarding and activation processes.

  • Develop and Scale Seller Playbooks: 

    • Design and implement scalable onboarding and activation playbooks to support sellers globally.

  • Drive Seller Growth and Retention: 

    • Develop engagement strategies to enhance seller experience, reduce churn, and increase seller GMV (Gross Merchandise Value).

  • Leverage Data and Insights: 

    • Use analytics to track success metrics, identify seller pain points, success trends, and opportunities for growth, driving informed decision-making.

  • Implement Scalable Support & Service Models: 

    • Establish proactive and reactive support systems that cater to sellers of all sizes and experience levels.

  • Monitor and Report on Success Metrics: 

    • Track KPIs such as seller activation rates, retention, satisfaction scores, and revenue contribution.

What you will bring: 
  • Proven experience leading global teams and scaling seller success programs across multiple regions.

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce, marketplaces, and seller dynamics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive strategy and decision-making.

  • Experience developing Salesforce solutions for tracking and managing seller cohorts.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels.

  • Streaming experience on platforms like Youtube, Facebook live, Twitch etc. preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in customer success, seller success, marketplace operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Travel required up to 30%

The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below:

$140,800 - $188,000

The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below: 

$101,200 - $174,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
