What you will do?

The Global Mobility Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of employee relocation and expatriate programs to ensure a seamless experience for our global workforce. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and HR teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in global mobility processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition for new hires (+paper work), providing them with the necessary resources, information, and support to integrate successfully into their roles
  • Facilitate a great expatriate experience, including ensuring expatriate have relevant information in a timely manner, hosting for new hire’s first day, ensuring accurate employee records/documentation, asset orders, cubicle assign, onboarding instructions etc.
  • Focus will be on supporting all mobility matters, including relocation, expatriate compliance, and global population management in areas such as tax and visa regulations (Specific knowledge of U.S. and Korea required)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with various departments, including HR, IT, Facilities, and Hiring Managers, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Partner with the Global Talent Management team in Korea, suppliers and key stakeholders on relocation cases
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS system- Workday/NUMI- Work with people team Operations to resolve system/data issues and data validation
  • Collect feedback from new hires to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to the onboarding process
  • Coordinate with external relocation service providers, where appropriate, to ensure outstanding service and seamless relocation of employees and partners
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the relevant teams responsible for each function to provide the data and information requested by HQ
  • Managed and coordinated internal and external events with 100+ attendees while supporting planning, scheduling, and resource management for project sprints
  • Support to develop, implement, administer, and maintain the benefit program, policies and procedures for Samsung expat

What you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree required and 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Korean is required
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural environment involving both HQ and local teams is preferred.
  • Understanding of labor, tax, and visa regulations in key locations (e.g., U.S., Korea) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to diverse stakeholders.
  • You are a problem solver and have a bias towards action.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range
$91,280$132,720 USD
