About the team

The Global Partner Marketing team extends the marketing reach of Stripe to customers and prospects by educating, engaging, and enabling partners worldwide to build market awareness and generate demand for Stripe solutions and services. We market to, with, and through our partners to increase our reach, scale our impact, accelerate revenue growth, and support partners in expanding their businesses with Stripe.

This role will work closely with the Agentic Commerce and AI GTM team, part of the newly-formed AI growth team, to cultivate and expand our relationships with leading AI companies and major technology partners, thereby driving the next wave of growth of the Stripe suite of agentic commerce products.

What you'll do

We're seeking an experienced, creative, and results-driven marketer to join our Global Partner Marketing team. Our mission is to deliver an outstanding Stripe experience for our partners by providing them with the right engagement, resources, and incentives as they build, launch, market, and scale their businesses with us. You'll work directly with some of our most strategic AI partners to identify shared users, develop joint marketing plans, and execute co-marketing campaigns aimed at driving customer acquisition and activation. As the inaugural hire dedicated to this partner segment, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our AI partner marketing strategy and investment model.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the AI Growth team, Product Marketing, and Product to gather inputs and align on strategies that support mutually beneficial opportunities 
  • Define annual joint marketing strategies, objectives, and success metrics for a portfolio of strategic AI partners
  • Develop aligned messaging and produce bespoke co-marketing campaigns and activations with your portfolio of partners
  • Execute co-marketing initiatives (e.g., joint email campaigns, co-branded webinars, etc.) to drive new user acquisition, increase product upsell, and generate sales pipeline with and through partners
  • Deliver account-based marketing plans to support go-to-market strategies aligned with sales 
  • Integrate partners into Stripe-led campaigns by collaborating with cross-functional marketing teams such as Campaigns, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, and Demand Generation
  • Define scaling mechanisms to provide marketing resources and enablement that support a scaled partner motion 
  • Manage marketing budgets with each partner to drive ROI
  • Track and evaluate the performance of co-marketing activities, sharing insights with the team to identify the most effective strategies and recommendations
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience that spans marketing, product marketing, or partner marketing 
  • At least 2–3 years of product marketing or go-to-market experience, with preference for experience working with payments, AI, or commerce
  • Experience working closely with go-to-market partners to build joint marketing plans and execute marketing programs and campaigns that drive mutually beneficial key performance indicators and new customer acquisition and pipeline generation outcomes
  • Experience shaping joint messaging and creating content with partners 
  • Demonstrated experience in measuring and improving the ROI of marketing investments through an indirect business model leveraging partners
  • Deep understanding of the user journey through a partner distribution channel and funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle and their respective requirements on the partner marketing organization to drive attach and revenue

  • Strong skills in building relationships with existing and new partners to align plans, drive clarity, and ensure effective communication of progress
  • High agency and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle ambiguity and work autonomously 
  • Big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail — you're able to quickly understand overall business objectives, build a well-aligned marketing strategy, and drive yourself and your cross-functional partners toward execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence various stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data
