About the Team

At Postman, our mission is to empower developers and teams to build and use APIs faster. As we continue to scale globally, our Workplace Experience & Operations Manager team plays a crucial role in ensuring our office environments foster collaboration, innovation, and productivity. We are responsible for optimizing workplace operations, enhancing the employee experience, and ensuring our global offices evolve to support Postman’s rapid growth.

Postman’s global footprint includes major hubs in New York City, Boston, and Bangalore, with our headquarters in San Francisco and additional offices in Berkeley and Cupertino. This role will oversee all workplace operations across these locations and beyond, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for Postmanauts worldwide.

The Opportunity

As the Global Workplace Experience & Operations Manager, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of Postman’s global workplace strategy. Your work will focus on creating high-performing, engaging, and efficient office environments that align with Postman’s culture and business needs. In this high-impact leadership role, you will partner closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and our distributed workforce to develop workplace strategies that enhance employee experience and optimize operational efficiency across all Postman offices.

What You'll Do

  • Define and implement a global workplace strategy that aligns with Postman’s growth, enhances employee engagement, and optimizes space utilization across our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, Boston, and Bangalore.
  • Lead and develop a global team of workplace operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee global office operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all locations while adapting to regional needs.
  • Manage space planning and utilization efforts, leveraging data-driven insights to ensure efficient use of office space and future growth planning.
  • Drive workplace innovation by piloting new tools, strategies, and processes to improve operational efficiency and enhance employee experiences.
  • Develop and manage the global workplace budget, ensuring financial transparency and cost-effective solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Security, and Facilities) to ensure seamless workplace operations that support employee needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all global office locations.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental impact across Postman’s offices.

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or workplace experience leadership in a global hybrid work environment.
  • Proven success leading and scaling global teams and managing large-scale office operations across multiple regions.
  • Strong expertise in workplace strategy, space planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in a high-growth tech environment, ideally in a SaaS or developer tools company.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience managing large budgets and driving cost efficiencies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Passionate about creating a world-class workplace experience that aligns with Postman’s mission and values.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in global expansion and office buildouts in multiple regions, for example, India and the USA.
  • Background in change management and implementing workplace transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of sustainability best practices in workplace operations.

This role reports to the Head of Global People Operations and is based in the greater San Francisco Bay area, and the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from  $190,000 to $245,000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

At Postman, we embrace a hybrid work model. For all roles based out of San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Bangalore, Noida, Hyderabad, and New York, employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.
