Description

South Project is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young moms through mentorship, resources, and community support. We’re looking for a volunteer grant writer to help us maintain and improve our website so we can reach more women who need us.

What You'll Do:

  • Research and identify potential philanthropic grants that align with South Project’s mission and values.

  • Build and maintain a list of potential grants and track key information (e.g., eligibility requirements, deadlines, application processes).

  • Assist with the preparation of grant applications, and letters of inquiry for relevant opportunities.

  • Maintain records of outreach efforts, grant applications, and partnerships, ensuring all communications are documented.

  • Collaborate with the fundraising and development teams to ensure alignment with overall financial goals and strategies.

Time Commitment:

  • Flexible, remote role

  • Estimated 3-5 hours per week

What we're looking for:

  • Self-motivated and independent, with a strong ability to work proactively.

  • Experience with nonprofit fundraising or partnership development is a plus.
