About the role:

Events are one of our best-performing channels, and we're about to do a lot more of them: everything from ultra-curated 6-person experiences to some of the biggest FinTech conferences in the country. We're looking for our 2nd Events hire and 6th Growth hire to help us scale volume without losing what makes our events work, and identify new opportunities to 10x the impact of our IRL channel.

This isn't a logistics-only role. You'll own events end-to-end – from initial concept and account targeting, through the copy that goes out on email and LinkedIn, through sponsorship negotiation and on-site execution, through Salesforce documentation and sales follow-up. You'll work directly with sales leadership on strategy and with individual reps on account-level targeting, and you'll be accountable for the pipeline and revenue our events produce.

This is a high-ownership role on a lean team, reporting directly to the Events Lead. You'll contribute to strategy and outcomes from day one, not just execute a prewritten plan. This is an opportunity to own a lot at one of the fastest-growing startups in the country.

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we’d love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

Own events end-to-end

  • Run the full lifecycle – ideation to on-site execution to post-event follow-through – across formats from small dinners to major FinTech conferences, with multiple events per week

  • Manage the full scope of trade show and third-party conference logistics: exhibitor deliverables, vendor and sponsorship negotiation, booth needs, swag, shipping, travel, budget, and team prep

Drive pipeline, not just attendance

  • Audit our existing events strategy, identify opportunities to optimize, and test new formats, working with Sales and Partnerships leadership to find the highest-leverage bets

  • Own what makes a dinner or trade show a win for reps: pre-event outreach, copy that drives key leads in, and timely, creative plays that convert prospects into opportunities

  • Track spend, document outcomes in Salesforce, and own reporting on pipeline created and revenue impact

Spot and activate opportunity

  • Notice growth levers that surface at events (e.g., a customer who wants more LinkedIn presence, a partnership worth building) and activate them with the broader Growth team

  • Build the systems that let us scale event volume without making each one a bigger lift, so we can host more while staying human

What you'll bring:
  • 2-4 years in field marketing or events, ideally B2B SaaS, with quantifiable business impact (dollars, not attendee counts)

  • Trade show and third-party conference experience: you know exactly why exhibitor resource centers are painful, and you have strategies for making them less so

  • Real business acumen: comfort being measured on pipeline and revenue, and fluency working with sales on strategy, account targeting, and follow-through

  • Ability to juggle dozens of events at once, each with its own format, goals, and deliverables

  • High ownership and a scrappy mindset – we have real budget; the fun is making it stretch creatively

  • Strong personal taste and personality – you're the face of these events, hosting, building relationships on the spot, and making people thrilled to be there

Nice to haves:
  • Background in fintech, accounting, or B2B SaaS selling to finance personas (CFOs, finance teams, controllers)

  • Experience with enterprise (not just commercial) sales motions

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, marketing

  • Comfortable in new and ambiguous environments – we work across ecommerce, SaaS, wholesale, and more. You won't know the nuances of every vertical, but you’ll need to get comfortable and build rapport fast.

Location:
  • This role is hybrid (3 days a week in our SF or NYC office)

What we offer:
  • Competitive salary and equity - you'll share directly in the company's success

  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Wellness perks like Headspace and the Peloton One App

  • 401(k) to help you build long-term financial security

  • Relocation assistance to NYC or SF (if needed)

  • Lunch and snacks when you're in the office

  • Regular team offsites and company events as we grow

  • A culture built on ownership - your work matters and people will see it!
