About Unify

Unify was founded January 17th, 2023 by Austin Hughes and Connor Heggie. Prior to Unify, Austin led Ramp’s growth product team focused on new customer acquisition, and Connor was a machine learning research engineer at Scale AI. The rest of our team comes from companies like Airbnb, Spotify, Bridgewater and Retool.

Our mission is to build the first system-of-action for go-to-market teams, starting with an end to end platform powering warm outbound. Today, outbound sales is dominated by cold, mass outreach that floods people's inboxes and converts to deals at a tiny rate. We’re building a platform to power warm outbound, allowing go-to-market teams to get in touch with the right people at the exact time they’re looking for a solutiaon.

We grew revenue 8x in 2024, and are already serving customers like Perplexity, Together.AI, Justworks, Flock Safety, and more. We’re a high energy, high intensity team and we’ve raised $58M from Thrive, Emergence, OpenAI and others. Come join us in changing how go-to-market works.

About the Role

At Unify, we believe that distribution should be engineered and are looking for someone that can systematically accelerate Unify's growth. As an early member of our growth team, you'll be critical in developing and executing initiatives that drive our ambitious vision forward. You'll have significant autonomy to own growth goals and lead high-impact experiments across the business. You will work with engineering, product, sales, and operations to solve the biggest challenges in scaling Unify.

We're deeply experimental, data-driven, and execution focused, building a growth engine to power our next 100x. You'll be a defining part of our trajectory as we become the system of action for growth teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Growth Strategy: Develop, execute, and iterate upon strategies including automated outbound, website conversion, SEO, paid marketing, affiliates and more.

  • Own Key Business Goals: Take ownership of growth metrics and establish end-to-end tracking systems to measure impact.

  • Run Growth Experiments: Design, execute, and analyze experiments from hypothesis to conclusion with resilience and rigor.

  • Lead Cross Functional Projects: Partner with engineering, product, sales, and operations to lead projects that are critical to Unify’s growth.

  • Solve Abstract Problems: Tackle open-ended distribution challenges including expanding our total addressable market, exploring new acquisition models, and more.

What You’ll Need
  • 2+ years of experience as an operator or engineer at a high-intensity, high-growth company, with a track record in building systems that drive business outcomes

  • Fearless experimentation - you will run ninety‑nine failed experiments if it means the hundredth becomes the inflection point. You always are thinking out of the box and are unafraid to fail.

  • Relentlessly execution-oriented - you bias toward action, are down to dive into the weeds, and do whatever it takes to ship.

  • Systems thinker - you are excited by hard distribution problems and committed to building growth engines that scale rather than one‑off hacks.

  • Excellent communicator & collaborator - you are able to lead cross‑functional projects and rally engineering, product, and sales around a shared growth goal.

  • Tool fluency - you are comfortable with growth tools like Unify, Amplitude, Salesforce, Webflow, and more.

  • Bonus

    • Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or SQL, with experience running growth experiments

Additional Information

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000-$200,000, with a target equity package and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options. This position is onsite in either San Francisco, CA, or New York City, NY, offering the invaluable opportunity to work closely with a talented team in a dynamic, high-energy environment. Being in-person enables real-time collaboration, fosters creative problem-solving, and strengthens the connections that drive innovation and impact. You'll be at the center of our fast-paced operations, contributing to a culture that values engagement, growth, and teamwork.
