The GTM Engineer will build systems for developer and business conversion, enhance data stack, and run intent-driven campaigns while collaborating across teams.
The summary above was generated by AI

Voice AI that resolves, not transfers.
Most phone systems trap callers in menus and scripts. Vapi is the platform for deploying voice agents that know your business and can listen, adapt, and resolve in minutes.

  • The numbers: 1 billion calls. 1 million developers. 10x enterprise ARR growth

  • The customers: Amazon Ring, ServiceTitan, New York Life, Intuit, Kavak, and thousands more, from YC startups to the Fortune 500

  • The news: a $50M Series B led by Peak XV Partners, with Bessemer Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, M12 (Microsoft's Venture Fund), Y Combinator, and our earlier backers. Total raised: $72M

Why We’re Hiring This Role:

Voice AI is exploding, and our GTM motion needs to match. We need someone who can build the systems that find, enrich, and convert the right developers and businesses before our competitors even know they exist.

Our data stack is powerful but underleveraged. You'll unlock it.

What You’ll Do:

30 Day: Audit our GTM stack (Clay, Hubspot, Salesforce, Hockeystack, & Tofu): map data flows, identify enrichment gaps, and ship your first quick wins on lead quality.

60 Day: Own enrichment workflows end to end; build multi-provider waterfalls; get signal-based outreach running at scale. Implement a consistent UTM naming convention across all channels, clean up historical tracking gaps, and stand up a multi-touch attribution view the team can trust.

90 Day: Stand up intent-driven Tofu campaigns; write scripts to extend what off-the-shelf tools can't do; become the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and Data.

Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a related function at a high-growth company with an agent-forward aptitude

  • Fluency in UTM structures, attribution models, and campaign tracking best practices

  • Excellent analytical skills: you're comfortable in spreadsheets, can write basic SQL, and know how to find signal in noisy data

  • Have built or prototyped AI-powered workflows using LLM APIs, Claude Code, etc

  • Deep in Hubspot: you use it for more than list pulls; you know the API and how to extract data programmatically

  • Comfortable in Salesforce: you can maintain database hygiene, and wire up CRM integrations

  • Obsessed with data quality: enrichment rates, match rates, and hygiene aren't metrics you track, they're things you lose sleep over

  • Fast and autonomous: Vapi moves quickly, and you'll prioritize ruthlessly

Why Vapi:
  • Generational impact: Build the human interface for every business

  • Ownership culture: 70% of the company are previous founders

  • Kind team: The founders, Jordan and Nikhil, are Canadians

  • Tier-1 Investors: YC, KP seed, Bessemer Series A & a $50M Series B led by Peak XV Partners

What We Offer:
  • Real stake: We offer a competitive salary and excellent equity ownership

  • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision plans

  • Team love: We love hanging out, and we do quarterly off-sites

  • Flexible time off: take what you need

  • More: catered meals, transportation, gym, and a $10k annual L&D budget

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
