Job Description

Your Career

You will lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) programs for Network Security (NetSec), reporting to the VP of GTM, Network Security. In this role, you will closely partner with leaders across NetSec sales, marketing, product, finance, and other senior stakeholders to tackle complex strategic and GTM challenges that are top priorities for our executive team.

We are seeking a seasoned GTM expert to help drive key GTM objectives and shape a market-leading network security business. • Architect the blueprint (what, when, how) with sound financial and strategic rationale
  • Collaborate across a cross-functional set of stakeholders (Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, Product, Marketing) to execute the programs - gather the right information, pressure test your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, launch plays and track value
  • Drive projects and efforts to unlock network security business growth acceleration
  • Structure and break down complex business problems, develop a hypothesis, drive analysis and deliver high-quality recommendations for executive level consumption
  • Drive change and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management and execution) to do what it takes to move from ideation to execution

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with 6+ years in top management consulting, private equity, top-tier tech strategy/“bizops” functions or GTM programs
  • GTM strategy and/or GTM programs experience is required
  • Current and/or previous people management experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Expertise in the enterprise technology industry (SaaS preferred); Cybersecurity industry experience preferred but not required
  • Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations
  • Strong communicator, comfortable engaging with senior leaders and executives
  • Proven ability to build relationships and lead through influence
  • Action-oriented self-starter who excels in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Collaborative team player who works cross-functionally to drive results

Additional Information

We work hand in hand with organizations around the world as they move to a more secure environment. As part of the GTM team, you find and create opportunities, forming relationships with organizations seeking a trusted partner.  You are empowered with unmatched systems and tools, including constantly updated research and sales libraries and a team built on joint success. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
