Job Description:

The Network Switch Group at Broadcom has delivered the most complex and cutting-edge networking switch ASICs and multi-die solutions to fast growing AI data centers to connect all GPUs within each others during the last decade. The group develops ASICs for L2/L3 routing and switching. These products support the latest networking protocols and features and manage extremely large traffic bandwidths on the order of several hundred Terabits/sec. These networking ASIC's support a large number of ports ranging from 10/100Mb/s to 800Gb/s speeds as well as various line interfaces and protocols and Flexible Packet Processing
 
Job Responsibility: 
The successful candidate will be responsible for various key tasks in hardware engineering, including testing cutting-edge network switches and handling testing equipment and application boards. The day-to-day tasks for this position include but are not limited to the following:
1). Bring up arrival of new version of silicons 
2). Characterize silicon interface protocols and timings ie I2C, SPI, PCIe ver 5 & MDIO 
3). Characterize silicon across various environmental scenarios: voltage and temperature.
4). Write scripts using Python 3 to automate stream lining silicon qualification testing
5). Operate and maintain lab system and testing equipements
6). Devise methods for robotic handlers to expedite testing.  
Job Requirements: The successful candidate must satisfy the following:
1). MSEE +10 years or BSEE + 12 years or equivalent, with concentration in digital design and excellent academic standing.
2). Must have in-depth knowledge of IC technology, ASIC design flows.
3). Thorough knowledge of high-speed Ethernet networking, IETF RFC protocols and CPU I/O bus technologies.
4). Strong knowledge of Perl, Python, C/C++ or other scripting languages.
5). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $143,800 - $230,000.

All subject to relevant plan documents and award agreements.
