Superpower is building the future of preventative health. We help people unlock peak performance and longevity—and we’re working to put an AI doctor in every person’s pocket.

We have product-market fit, are growing fast, and are ~12 months from $100M revenue and a $1B valuation. This is a critical inflection point—scaling beyond the founding team into a world-class engineering organization.

Our team is made up of over a dozen former venture backed founders, 5 technical Y Combinator alumni, and a Thiel Fellow – extremely high horsepower, mission-obsessed, and operating at the edge of speed and ambition.

The Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Leader who can align, structure, and scale our engineering org while staying deeply technical. We’re looking to build an org that runs at the speed of physics. You’ll:

  • Translate the product roadmap into engineering execution.

  • Drive velocity by parallelizing work and unblocking constraints.

  • Get into the code when it matters.

  • Hire, mentor and grow top engineers into leaders.

  • Partner with product and design to ship with taste and speed.

What You’ll Do
  • Scale engineering culture – Build and lead an org that operates at extreme velocity.

  • Own architecture decisions – Balance speed, scalability, and reliability.

  • Spec product work – Work directly with the CTO, founders, and product leads to scope, prioritize, and ship.

  • Manage velocity – Remove bottlenecks, shorten iteration cycles, and accelerate shipping.

  • Grow the team – Attract and level up world-class engineers who thrive in this environment.

What We’re Looking For
  • Consumer product experience – Built and scaled consumer-facing apps with taste and user obsession.

  • Startup leadership – Been through 0→1 and 1→100 at a high-growth consumer company.

  • Engineering leadership – Scaled beyond the founding team without losing velocity.

  • Technical depth – Strong coding background, comfortable reviewing and making architecture calls.

  • Velocity mindset – Moves at an extreme pace, unblocks, parallelizes, and accelerates work.

  • Based in San Francisco – Thrives in a fast-moving, in-person culture.

Archetypes We Like
  • Engineering leader at a high-growth startup.

  • Technical product leader with deep engineering background.

  • Deeply product minded who understands product + engineering tradeoffs.

  • Former startup CTO or founder.

Compensation
  • Top percentile salary.

  • Top percentile equity ownership – this is one of the most important hires to unlock speed at Superpower.
