The Role

We're looking for a Head of Marketing to build and own our pipeline engine. This is a hands-on, player-coach role for someone who has personally run outbound at scale and knows how to turn it into a repeatable, measurable growth channel. You'll set the marketing strategy, build the team, and work shoulder to shoulder with Sales to generate a qualified pipeline based on our ICP.

What you'll do
  • Run the outbound program end to end: ICP and account selection, list building, messaging, sequencing, and execution across email, LinkedIn, phone, and direct mail

  • Create a comprehensive list of target accounts, lead-handoff criteria, and pipeline targets with Sales leadership; review conversion data with Sales [weekly]

  • Write and standardise positioning and outbound messaging, and produce supporting assets: case studies, one-pagers, landing pages, sales enablement

  • Test segments, subject lines, offers, and channels, and document results

  • Own the marketing budget and report pipeline, CAC, and ROI to leadership and the board [monthly]

  • Run channels beyond outbound, for example hosted events for target accounts, active presence in industry forums and communities, podcasts and partner co-marketing; track each on pipeline created and cost per opportunity

What we're looking for

Required

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing or growth, including 3+ years leading a marketing or demand generation function at an early- or growth-stage company

  • Experience building and running an outbound program that sourced pipeline and revenue, and can share the results (meetings, pipeline $, conversion rates)

  • Hands-on with sequencing, data, and CRM tools (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Salesforce or related tools)

  • Has written and A/B tested outbound copy

  • Has owned a pipeline or revenue target jointly with Sales

  • Reports on funnel metrics, conversion rates, attribution, and forecasts

  • Own the marketing budget and report on pipeline, CAC, and ROI to the leadership team and board

Nice to have

  • Paid acquisition experience (search, paid social, retargeting, ABM advertising)

  • Experience running events, communities, or partnerships that sourced pipeline

  • Experience launching marketing in a new market, segment, or region

  • Experience with product-led or sales-assisted motions

Outcomes

By 90 days

  • $1.5M in qualified pipeline

By 12 months

  • $10M in qualified pipeline

  • At least 2–3 additional channels (e.g. events, communities, partnerships, podcasts) contributing measurable inbound pipeline
