Our Mission

Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone to use, customize, and build on. We build open models that let anyone control their intelligence and help shape the future of AI. Our mission: make intelligence open and accessible to all.

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned marketing leader to build and lead Reflection’s marketing organization.

This role will own Reflection’s overall marketing strategy and execution across corporate marketing, product and growth marketing, sales enablement, brand partnerships, and beyond. They will translate company priorities into a focused marketing roadmap, establish the systems and processes required to execute it, and ensure the function is delivering measurable impact across the business.

The ideal candidate is both a builder and an operator: someone who can develop a marketing strategy for a highly technical company while also establishing the infrastructure, team, and executional rigor needed to bring it to life.

What You'll Do
  • Develop Reflection’s overall marketing strategy and priorities in close partnership with the founders and company leadership as the company scales

  • Define the scope, structure, priorities, reporting, and operating model for the marketing organization as you build and lead the team

  • Oversee a full-range marketing team spanning creative storytelling and campaigns, channels, product marketing, and more – all in service of raising brand awareness and driving product adoption

  • Develop audience strategies for the distinct groups Reflection needs to reach, including developers, researchers, enterprise leaders, government stakeholders, technology partners, prospective employees, and the broader AI ecosystem

  • Establish annual and quarterly planning processes, operating cadences, and mechanisms for prioritizing opportunities for the marketing function

  • Serve as a cross-functional leader, working closely with the team across research, product, GTM, and more

What We're Looking For
  • 12+ years of experience, including significant experience building, scaling, and leading marketing teams

  • A strong track record in marketing for technical and/or community-driven brands

  • Experience developing an integrated marketing strategy across product marketing, performance marketing, brand, creative storytelling and beyond

  • Strong operational leadership, including ownership of planning, budgets, and measurement systems

  • Comfort with ambiguity and speed: this role is being built from the ground up, as the company scales, so you’ll be building the playbook and team as you go

  • Excellent cross-functional and executive-level judgment, with experience partnering closely with senior leaders across the business

What We Offer:

We believe that to make intelligence open and accessible to all, you need to start at the foundation. Joining Reflection means building from the ground up as part of a talent-dense team. You will help define our future as a company, and help define the future of open foundational models.

We want you to do the most impactful work of your career with the confidence that you and the people you care about most are supported.

  • Top-tier compensation: Salary and equity structured to recognize and retain our talent globally.

  • Stock options: Everyone who joins and contributes to Reflection's success gets to share in the upside through stock options.

  • Health & wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life, with an annual wellness allowance.

  • Meals: Lunch and dinner are provided in the office daily.

  • Life & family: 22 weeks paid parental leave for all new birthing and non-birthing parents, including adoptive and surrogate journeys.

  • Vacation days: Unlimited paid time off in the U.S. and 30 days in the U.K.

  • Sponsorship support: We sponsor visas to help exceptional talent join our team and support long-term immigration pathways where applicable.

  • Team building: We have regular off-sites, happy hours, and team celebrations.

Export Control Notice: This position may require access to technology or source code subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Any offer of employment for this role may be conditioned on the Company's ability to provide the candidate with access to such technology or source code in compliance with applicable U.S. export control laws, which may require the Company to seek government authorization.
