About candidate.fyi

candidate.fyi is an AI-powered interview scheduling and recruiting coordination platform built for enterprise companies. We help HR leaders, recruiting operations teams, and talent acquisition professionals at mid-to-large enterprises take the coordination chaos out of scaling their hiring - with deep integrations into Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and other major ATS platforms.

Why We're Hiring

We've got real enterprise traction, a GTM engineer building out our content and demand gen systems, an AE closing deals, and two Enterprise BDRs building pipeline - but no one owning marketing strategy end to end. That's this role. You'll be the first dedicated marketing hire, which means you're not inheriting a playbook - you're writing it, and then running it yourself.

What You'll Own
  • Brand and positioning: define how candidate.fyi sounds and looks everywhere: website, content, social, email, sales collateral.

  • Content strategy and category authority: build the content engine (blog, case studies, thought leadership) that makes candidate.fyi the obvious name in AI-powered recruiting coordination, working directly with our GTM Engineer to execute it.

  • Demand generation: design and run the campaigns that keep top-of-funnel pipeline flowing into our sales team. You own the number, not just the activity.

  • Sales enablement and messaging: partner directly with our AE and BDRs so the story you're telling in market is the same one showing up in outbound and sales conversations.

  • Category-building initiatives: support strategic GTM pushes

  • Marketing performance: own reporting that connects campaign and content activity to actual pipeline and revenue outcomes, not just vanity metrics.

  • Real-world presence and thought leadership: get candidate.fyi in front of the market beyond our own channels: conferences and industry events, webinars, and landing speaking or podcast slots for our team. Content isn't just what we publish, it's where we show up.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be writing copy, building campaigns, and shipping content yourself in year one - not just directing someone else's work.

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally with experience selling into enterprise HR, talent acquisition, or adjacent enterprise software categories.

  • A track record of building a content or demand gen engine from close to scratch at an early-stage company - not just running an existing playbook at a larger org.

  • Strong writing and storytelling instincts. Our buyers are sophisticated, skeptical HR and TA leaders - generic SaaS marketing copy won't land.

  • Comfort managing a direct report while staying hands-on with execution yourself.

  • Startup mentality: comfortable with ambiguity, moving fast, and doing the job before you have a full team to delegate to.

Nice to Have
  • Experience marketing specifically into HR tech, recruiting, or the Workday/Greenhouse/Lever ecosystem.

  • Experience running co-marketing or partner marketing motions with platform partners.

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable marketing stack.
