MECCA's Planning team plays a critical role in ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time, enabling exceptional customer experiences while driving commercial performance across the business. 

As Head of Planning, you will play a key part in evolving our planning capability as MECCA continues through an exciting period of transformation. 

The Role You Could Play: 

Reporting into the General Manager - Merchandise Operations, you will lead the Planning function and drive commercial outcomes across the business. You will: 

  • Lead and evolve the Planning function through organisational transformation, embedding new ways of working and driving continuous improvement. 

  • Partner with our Brand Management, Merchandise Operations, Range & Space and executive stakeholders to develop and execute commercial planning strategies that optimise business performance. 

  • Coach, develop and inspire a large team of planning leaders, building capability and fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture. 

  • Represent the Planning function at Leadership Team level, providing commercial insights and recommendations to influence key business decisions. 

  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement, identifying opportunities to improve planning processes and team effectiveness. 

 

What You Will Bring: 

You are a collaborative and commercially astute planning leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. Ideally, you will bring: 

  • Significant leadership experience within Planning, Merchandising or Commercial functions, ideally in beauty retail, fashion or FMCG. 

  • Demonstrated success leading large teams through organisational transformation and change. 

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes. 

  • Experience balancing strategic planning with operational execution in high-volume, consumer-focused businesses. 

  • A people-first leadership style with a passion for developing capability, building strong partnerships and creating high-performing teams.
