The Role

We are looking for a Founding Head of Sales Development to build and lead Chamelio’s SDR organization from the ground up.

This is a hands-on builder role. You will design our outbound strategy, establish the operating playbook, recruit and develop the initial team, and create a predictable pipeline engine. Early on, you will work directly alongside the SDRs—testing messaging, refining targeting, and helping generate meetings. As the team grows, you will transition into leading and scaling the function.

You will work closely with our VP of Sales, AEs, Marketing, and founders to turn a strong product and customer story into a repeatable outbound motion.

What You’ll Do
  • Build Chamelio’s SDR function from the ground up, including strategy, processes, systems, reporting, and team structure

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage a high-performing team of SDRs

  • Develop outbound strategies for general counsel, legal operations, and other senior legal leaders

  • Personally test new segments, messaging, sequences, and channels before scaling them across the team

  • Establish clear performance expectations and operating rhythms around activity, qualified meetings, pipeline, and conversion

  • Partner with Marketing to coordinate account targeting, campaigns, events, and inbound follow-up

  • Work closely with AEs to improve meeting quality, handoffs, and pipeline conversion

  • Build a rigorous, data-driven approach to forecasting SDR capacity and pipeline contribution

  • Create a strong culture of accountability, experimentation, coaching, and continuous improvement

  • Develop future SDR leaders and create a clear path for top performers to grow within Chamelio

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience building or meaningfully scaling an SDR organization at a high-growth B2B SaaS company

  • A track record of hiring, coaching, and retaining successful SDR teams

  • Willingness to be highly hands-on and help create pipeline—not only manage from a dashboard

  • Strong understanding of enterprise outbound sales, ideally targeting senior executives

  • Experience building repeatable processes while continuing to test and improve the underlying motion

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where the playbook is still being written

  • Strong analytical skills and command of SDR metrics, conversion rates, capacity planning, and pipeline forecasting

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and cross-functional leadership skills

  • High ownership, urgency, resilience, and ambition

Experience selling legal technology, AI, or enterprise workflow software is helpful, but not required.

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, you will:

  • Establish Chamelio’s outbound strategy and SDR operating playbook

  • Recruit and develop the company’s initial SDR team

  • Build a consistent source of qualified enterprise opportunities

  • Create clear visibility into productivity, conversion, pipeline contribution, and hiring needs

  • Develop a repeatable SDR engine that can scale with the company’s growth

Why Chamelio
  • Join at an inflection point, with strong customer validation and significant growth ahead

  • Build a critical function with real ownership and direct access to company leadership

  • Sell a differentiated AI platform into a large market undergoing rapid transformation

  • Work with an ambitious, experienced team backed by leading investors

  • Shape not only the SDR organization, but Chamelio’s broader go-to-market strategy
