About the Role

MediaGo is seeking a Head of Sales – North America to lead and scale our U.S. advertising sales organization. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding strategic advertiser and agency partnerships, and building a high-performing sales team. Reporting to senior leadership, the Head of Sales will play a key role in shaping MediaGo's go-to-market strategy and strengthening our position in the U.S. programmatic advertising market.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with deep expertise in programmatic advertising; native and display, a strong industry network, and a successful track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing sales organizations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall U.S. sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth and expand MediaGo's market presence.
  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing advertising sales team, establishing clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career development plans.
  • Own the overall sales pipeline and forecasting process, ensuring consistent pipeline generation, accurate revenue projections, and achievement of company growth targets.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with advertisers, agencies, and strategic partners, while personally leading negotiations for high-value enterprise opportunities.
  • Identify new market opportunities, industry verticals, and strategic partnerships to accelerate business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Account Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure exceptional client experience, successful campaign execution, and long-term customer retention.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine go-to-market strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Establish and optimize sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics to improve team productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Represent MediaGo at industry conferences, client meetings, and executive events to strengthen the company's brand and industry presence.
  • Provide regular business updates, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership role within programmatic advertising, DSPs, ad tech, or digital media.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, agencies, measurement, and performance marketing.
  • Strong network of relationships across advertisers, agencies, and key industry partners.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing go-to-market strategies and scaling revenue in a high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and market insights to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
