About RISA Labs

At RISA, we are building the future of mission critical workflows by leveraging the latest in AI. Our purpose is to solve humanity’s hardest hurdles, starting with the incredibly high stakes challenges within oncology. We are not just selling software, we are delivering resilient, autonomous infrastructure that powers foundational institutions and ultimately helps accelerate human progress.

Founders

RISA was founded by Kshitij Jaggi and Kumar Shivang, IIT Kanpur alumni with a proven track record from their previous healthcare startup, Urban Health. Their vision is to streamline oncology care through cutting edge technology.

Funding

RISA Labs is a Series A startup backed by Optum Ventures, Cencora Ventures, Oncology Ventures, General Catalyst, Binny Bansal, z21 Ventures, John Simons and select angels.

About the Role

RISA Labs is building its first U.S. go-to-market motion and hiring a Head of Sales to lead new-logo growth in community oncology. RISA already has traction with lighthouse customers - few of the largest community oncology practices on the east coast, and we want you to make it a scalable motion. This role requires a hands-on hunter who can build a pipeline from scratch, mentor AEs, and shape the commercial model in partnership with founders.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end new-logo acquisition in community oncology, in true startup fashion with less structure and more autonomy
  • Build and execute outbound strategy; develop messaging and value propositions
  • Co-build sales playbook with founder and current GTM team. Fast learning speed for the team is critical
  • Recruit, mentor, and scale the initial GTM team (AEs, BDRs, CS) as revenue grows
  • Represent RISA at industry events and meetings with cancer center leadership

Who You Are

  • 5+ years successfully selling into community oncology practices, specially those on Flatiron, iKnowMed or CureMD
  • ~8-10 total years professional experience (prefer rising talent over legacy seniority)
  • Demonstrated track record of personally sourcing and closing new logos
  • Sold into CFO / financial / RCM leadership in health systems or oncology groups
  • Experience selling B2B workflow automation or healthcare AI solutions
  • Comfortable selling an incomplete /evolving product and shaping early offerings
