About Sapiom

Sapiom is the end-to-end platform that removes barriers to ship and scale agentic products.
We unify everything an agent needs to act in the world: compute and sandboxes, memory, identity, domains and DNS, spend controls, browser automation, web search and deep research, databases, storage, queues, messaging, image generation, voice, enrichment, verification, and monitoring provisioned together as one thing, not handed over as a framework for builders to assemble themselves. Pricing is just as simple: a plan, a generous free tier, pay for what you use when you use it.
We have assembled a world-class team with deep infrastructure and payments DNA to build the operating system for machines. Backed by a $15.75M investment from Accel, Menlo, and Anthropic, we are moving with relentless focus to allow builders to ship and scale agentic products.

About the Role

The Head of Strategy & Operations is the architect of the operational backbone that lets the company scale. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you turn strategic intent into operating plans, cadences, and systems the rest of the company can run on. You'll embed deeply in the day-to-day mechanics of the business — translating leadership priorities into execution, tracking progress relentlessly, and removing bottlenecks before they slow the team down.

This is a high-trust, high-agency seat. You partner with leadership on strategy and own the machinery that turns it into results — across finance, legal, people ops, and beyond.

What You Will Do

You'll partner with the leadership team to shape strategy and drive its operational execution, with the judgment and trust to represent the business in high-stakes conversations, internally and externally. You'll move fluidly across the business — running planning cycles and executive forums, designing the systems finance, legal, and people ops run on, and standing up new functions from scratch. You treat every operating function with the rigor of a production system, build processes that are audit-ready by default, and default to automating outcomes rather than adding headcount.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & execution: Partner with the leadership team to define and operationalize strategy across segments — translating it into clear, trackable initiatives, operating plans, and execution frameworks, and driving cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product and GTM, so key priorities move forward with speed and accountability.

  • Operating cadence & governance: Design and run operating rhythms including planning cycles, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), forecast reviews, and executive forums, ensuring clear decision-making, accountability, and follow-through; serve as the primary integrator across functions, driving clarity on ownership, handoffs, and interdependencies.

  • Operating functions & organizational rigor: Architect and systematize the company's operating functions — finance, legal, compliance, hiring, and ops — building systems designed for hyper-growth that are audit-ready by default; identify organizational bottlenecks and design scalable processes to support growth, including org design, capacity planning, and prioritization as the business evolves.

  • Planning, forecasting & performance: Oversee company-wide planning and performance management in partnership with Finance, ensuring consistent metrics, dashboards, and insights inform decision-making across the business.

  • Capital & narrative: Synthesize market signals into a coherent company narrative, prepare board and investor materials, and support fundraising processes end-to-end — data rooms, decks, investor narratives, and diligence management.

Requirements
  • 10+ years in Strategy, Operations, Technical Program Management, or Product — with a proven track record driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea to completion.

  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling business operations (finance, legal, compliance) in a high-growth startup environment.

  • Strong track record designing and running operating cadences — QBRs, forecast reviews, planning cycles, executive forums — with clear accountability and follow-through.

  • Experience partnering with Finance on company-wide planning, forecasting, and attaining company goals.

  • Strong technical fluency: able to engage credibly with engineers, and identify technical growth opportunities.

  • Track record supporting or leading fundraising end-to-end — data rooms, decks, investor narratives, and diligence management.

  • Comfort pressure-testing leadership thinking in high-stakes settings — surfaces blind spots and challenges assumptions constructively.

  • Hands-on with automation tooling and AI agents — default instinct is to eliminate operational drag through systems, not headcount.

  • Builder's mentality: designs for 100x scale from day one.
