About the Role

As an HR Generalist at Lambda, you will manage a diverse set of projects and programs that will establish, develop, and foster a great people experience at Lambda from ‘hire to retire’. This role will champion our culture and employee experience, by helping cultivate a culture that will strengthen our team member experiences throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion our culture, company mission, purpose and values to all team members.

  • Assume ownership of the new hire onboarding experience including all pre-boarding communications, day one activities coordination, seamless cultural immersion, and working closely with hiring managers on creation of a robust onboarding guide for each new hire.

  • Manage employee swag including ordering, inventory, employee selection, shipping, etc.

  • Maintain digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records as applicable

  • Together with other HR Generalists, conduct rotating employee check-ins to manage employee advocacy and conflict resolution

  • Main point of contact for non-manager employees for all HR, benefits, 401k, and policy related questions

  • Back-up for payroll processing

  • Supporting compliance with regulatory annual filings, reporting, and employee communications

  • Ensure all Federal/State/City required posters (Wages, FMLA, etc.) are posted onsite

  • Together with other HR Generalists, manage all employee leaves, accommodation requests, and grievances.

  • Together with the Director of HR, you will work with various department heads to ensure cultural, engagement, office, and travel needs are met.

Experience that’s great to have

  • 2+ years of US/California HR experience required

  • 2+ years of experience onboarding new hires in an HR or related role

  • Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Strong relationship building and networking skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence

Nice to Have

  • Human Resources project management experience

  • Interest in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

  • Start-up and / or remote environment experience

Salary Range Information

Based on market data and other factors, the annual salary range for this position is $149,000 - $213,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
