About the Role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support our People Operations team. As we continue to grow rapidly, the HR Generalist will ensure that we are building strong foundational processes that align with Company goals and values and elevate the employee experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support People Ops team with full scope of employee onboarding journey, and new hire orientation, including uploading/processing onboarding data via the HRIS system to ensure data integrity, and engaging with new hires to create a meaningful experience. 
  • Partner with Recruiting and IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding workflow and timely equipment procurement, delivery and support for new hires.
  • Support the administration of employee benefit plans and open enrollment.
  • Ensure Ginger policies are up to date and easily accessible within the G suite for all employees.
  • Act as tier-1 support in tandem with the People Ops Associate managing employee inquiries via the People Operations mailbox/ticketing system and escalating when necessary.
  • Support the design and implementation of new and expanded HR policies and procedures in collaboration with the People Ops Partner.
  • With support from the Manager, People Ops, track and manage deliverables re: employee Visa and I-9 processes.
  • Support Affinity groups (ERGs) as needed (Ginger Parents, LGBTQ+, AAPI, etc.).
  • Support POps team with various HR related projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR; experience in a digital health environment a plus
  • Experience supporting the HR function and a desire to learn and grow in the HR field
  • Experience with G suite preferred

Preferred: BA in Humanistic studies or related field, and/or HR certification
