About the Role:

Ginger is looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner to join our People Operations team, who will be dedicated to supporting our Care Operations team. The HR Business Partner will provide strategic advice and direction to our Care leadership team, supporting key business initiatives and ensuring maximum organizational effectiveness. This role will be instrumental in developing, initiating, and driving HR programs, initiatives and policies in partnership with the People Operations team.

The Care Operations team is responsible for continuing to scale our people, processes and infrastructure while maintaining efficiency and a high quality of care for Ginger’s members and the Care team. The HRBP, Care Ops will play a critical role in supporting our clinician and coach network, and will be instrumental in developing, initiating, and driving People Operations programs and initiatives.

This role is both hands-on and strategic. Ginger is looking for a true business partner who understands that our people are our most valuable asset. You will be embedded within multiple organizations, and will work closely with the management teams as well as our employees on people related matters.

What you'll do and skill set requirements:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to implement core People Operations policies, programs and practices necessary to drive people and business objectives
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations team to develop solutions and programs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to day-to-day operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the business unit’s matrix, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team to track talent acquisition metrics for this business unit, and support optimization efforts as needed
  • Excellent project and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Data driven mindset. 
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, career development, conflict resolution).
  • Provide thought partnership and input on business unit workforce and succession planning.
  • Work closely with management and employees to keep a pulse on morale and engagement, and to maintain high retention rates. 
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and trust in a high EQ environment 
  • Bring an appropriate sense of lightness and fun to your work, while also maintaining your commitment to professional rigor, integrity and credibility
  • Ability to influence across multiple levels, and via remote relationships
  • Strategic mindset and effective in “rolling up sleeves” and delivering results

About you and requirements:

  • 5-10 years in HR
  • Preferred: BA or higher in a human resources, business or humanistic discipline
  • Understanding of coach, therapist and psychiatrist care model, as well as clinical operations positions preferred
  • Excellent oral/written communication and listening skills; presentation skills  
  • Experience with applying the principles of design thinking in HR a plus 
  • Experience with hyper-growth companies, preferably in a digital health environment strongly desired
  • SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR a plus
