People Systems Analyst, Workday
About the role
Chime is looking for a People Systems Analyst to implement business decisions and strategic initiatives across the People and Talent organization. You will work cross-functionally to achieve business goals in supporting, configuring, and enabling Workday at Chime. As an advanced Workday analyst, you will offer solutions to support business goals, and implement new modules within Workday. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and will report to the Manager of People Technology.
In this role, you can expect to
- Play an integral role in the configuration, support, and success of Workday and other People Systems
- Identify, prioritize, and implement best practices from a solutions perspective for Workday based on gathered requirements
- Lead system configuration, testing, and deployment of assigned applications to meet requirements, timelines, and execution standards
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ascertain and maintain best possible configuration, irritating where needed and providing innovative solutions to fill gaps.
- Ensure data integrity by understanding and proactively identifying opportunities to improve, working closely with cross-functional teams
- Train end-users and peers on new processes and functionality as needed
- Work fearlessly in uncovering underlying issues or business problems and working to fix them
To thrive in this role, you have
- Expertise using Workday, preferably in functional areas such as Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Security
- A strong business thinking orientation, the ability to use 'first principles' to solve challenging business problems at their root level
- The ability to be data-driven, able to analyze data with strong attention to detail and accuracy, and passionate about telling the story behind the data which in turn leads to system enhancements. • You are a self-motivated, rapid learner, excited about developing your analytical and problem-solving skills
- A results-oriented approach, always evaluating whether our team's activities are achieving the desired, measurable impact
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing team-oriented environment and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- A BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of work experience in HRIS implementation/configuration, Domestic and International, management consulting, or another quantitative role at a tech company
