Our Growth Mindset (The Mission):

Think back on your time in school and a project or experience that got you fired up, curious, and motivated to try your best. Can you remember one? If you’re like us, there are some projects we remember decades later -- those times when we were so engaged in what we were doing that we couldn’t help but learn.

Seesaw is a learning platform that brings educators, students and families together to deepen student learning. Teachers design and facilitate powerful learning experiences, students create, reflect, collaborate and make their learning visible, and families actively support and celebrate student learning. Seesaw is used by millions of K-12 students in over half the schools in the U.S.

Seesaw is hiring its first ever Senior Total Rewards and HR Operations Manager. In this role you will think and act in ways that scale whether that be for systems, tools, or processes to best support our evolving team at various stages of growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a big impact and own a very important part of the HR function at Seesaw.

Your Classmates (The Team):

Our people team consists of both our recruiting and HR functions. The HR component of our people team is small but mighty and this will be a critical hire for the team. You will report directly into the VP of People and work alongside two incredibly passionate and dedicated HR team members. This team is collaborative, supportive, and the ultimate champions of Seesaw’s culture.

- Drive the annual open enrollment process and regularly evaluate ways to iterate and better our benefit offerings.

- Develop strong relationships with our brokers and vendors.

- Be the source of truth and education for employees on benefits related matters.

HR Systems

You don’t shy away from the nitty gritty of setting up HR systems for success. You see the beauty in automation and positively influence the organization around best practices related to HRIS use.

- You'll have the opportunity to help select and implement a new HRIS system to aid our growing team and will be responsible for day to day administration ensuring processes are efficient and integrated.

- You’ve done this at least once before and have experience with a few different HRIS systems.

- Your data hygiene is impeccable. You pull reports with ease, keep systems up to date, and are the go to person on all things HRIS related.

Administration and Compliance

With a growing team that is distributed across the U.S., there is no shortage of administration and compliance improvements to be made and best practices to be implemented.

- You are detail oriented and are knowledgeable on HR administration and compliance like leaves of absence, time and attendance,

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

  • 7+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, and HR systems.
