Coinbase has built the world's leading compliant cryptocurrency platform serving over 30 million accounts in more than 100 countries. With multiple successful products, and our vocal advocacy for blockchain technology, we have played a major part in mainstream awareness and adoption of cryptocurrency. We are proud to offer an entire suite of products that are helping build the cryptoeconomy and increase economic freedom around the world.

There are a few things we look for across all hires we make at Coinbase, regardless of role or team. First, we look for signals that a candidate will thrive in a culture like ours, where we default to trust, embrace feedback, disrupt ourselves, and expect sustained high performance because we play as a championship team. Second, we expect all employees to commit to our mission-focused approach to our work. Finally, we seek people with the desire and capacity to build and share expertise in the frontier technologies of crypto and blockchain, in whatever way is most relevant to their role.

Talent Programs

The Talent Programs team provides both strategic and operational support to Coinbase’s Talent (recruiting) team by developing programs that help the company hire Top Talent in an efficient and thoughtful way. By applying analytical and operational rigor to how we recruit, this team plays a central role in Coinbase’s ability to scale quickly.

You will do this by:

  • Building onboarding schedules and documents for new recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators
  • Setting up new team members with appropriate access to all Talent systems: Greenhouse, LinkedIn, Gem, Jira, etc.
  • Coordinating efforts to recruit for the Talent team, including compiling candidate backgrounds and interview feedback and sending to hiring team
  • Partnering with the Talent Program Managers to execute recruiting process improvements and to report on the effectiveness of Talent programs
  • Conducting operational tasks, such assisting with ticket queue

**Please note that this is a contractor role.

What we look for in you:

  • 3+ years in a coordination or executive assistant role
  • Impeccable detail orientation and customer service mentality in a fast-paced work environment
  • Collaborative attitude with an eagerness to pitch in and help with anything, even when it’s a task that’s new to you

At Coinbase, we are direct and succinct, we have a bias for action, we act like owners, and take extraordinary measures to hire top talent in every seat. Please read about how we treat each other and operate by reading through our cultural tenants here. We look forward to hearing from you!
