About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HRIS & Data Manager to support the continued rollout and optimization of our new HRIS. This role will play a critical part in ensuring our system is fully implemented, our data is accurate and reliable, and our processes are scalable and well-adopted across the organization.

By the end of this engagement, our HRIS will be:

  • Fully rolled out with strong adoption across the organization

  • Reconciled and aligned across systems

  • Backed by clean, reliable data

  • Supported by documented, scalable processes and controls

What You'll Do HRIS Implementation & Module Rollout
  • Lead the rollout of new HRIS modules (time cards, leaves of absence, workforce planning, LMS, remaining integrations, and more!), partnering cross-functionally with HR, Finance, IT, and business leaders

  • Configure and optimize existing modules to improve usability, adoption, and process alignment

  • Ensure employees, managers, and HR teams are properly trained and supported in using new functionality

  • Drive structured implementation plans, documentation, and change management efforts

Data Migration & Stewardship
  • Audit historical data and lead the migration of remaining legacy data into the new HRIS

  • Validate data accuracy and integrity during and after migration

  • Establish and document data governance standards and ownership

Integrations, System Reconciliation & Controls
  • Improve integrations and data flows between the HRIS and other internal systems

  • Design and implement a recurring reconciliation process across HRIS and downstream systems (e.g., payroll, finance, benefits, IT systems)

  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies

  • Create sustainable controls and reporting mechanisms to ensure ongoing data accuracy

Ongoing System Ownership
  • Serve as the primary operational owner of HRIS data integrity.

  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, data flows, and processes.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to strengthen long-term system scalability.

  • Own day-to-day system administration tasks including:

    • Bulk uploads and updates

    • Cost center changes and organizational updates

    • System configuration updates

    • Workflow and automation enhancements

What You NeedRequired Experience
  • 6-8+ years of hands-on experience managing and implementing HRIS platforms.

  • Direct experience leading HRIS implementations or major module rollouts.

  • Strong background in data auditing, migration, and cross-system reconciliation.

  • Experience designing and improving HR system integrations and workflows.

  • Demonstrated ability to build governance processes and sustainable operational controls.

  • Comfort working both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience
  • Direct experience with HiBob (Bob) HRIS strongly preferred.

  • Experience with modern, cloud-based HRIS platforms (not solely large enterprise systems such as traditional Workday-only experience).

  • Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations.

  • Familiarity with cross-functional data flows between HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT systems.

Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)
  • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you

    • Partially covered for your dependents

    • One Medical annual membership

  • 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)

  • Flexible PTO

  • Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)

  • Parental Leave

  • Unlimited AI token usage

  • Pet insurance

  • Centralized home-office equipment ordering for all employees

  • Health and Wellness stipend

  • In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more

  • Budget for intra-office travel

  • Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed)
