Your Role & Impact

The Human Resources (HR) Assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Human Resource operations. This includes preparing correspondence, reports and presentations; handling information requests; receiving new hires and department visitors; document retention filing; assisting with meetings and trainings; and maintaining calendars and schedules.

This position is designated as confidential. It will routinely have access to information that is substantially relevant to and will contribute to the development of management and employee positions with respect to employer-employee relations.

What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications Required:
    • Associate degree from an accredited institution in human resources, office management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant administrative office experience.
    • At least two (2) years of administrative support experience in a professional environment.
    • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.
    • Knowledge and proper use of grammar, spelling, punctuation, proofing, document formatting and basic math skills.
    • Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, office management or related field.
    • Familiarity with California labor and employment laws.
    • Familiarity with human resource information systems.

 The pay range for this role is $23 to $32.20 per hour. We compensate based on applicable experience related to the role.
