(ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets. ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.


The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes. This position is responsible for maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, administering benefits and leave programs, and assisting with payroll support and HR reporting. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and helps ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and a proactive, service-oriented approach to employee support.


What you’ll do:

  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis via Paycom.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and tax information.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support benefits enrollment and administration, including responding to employee inquiries.
  • Assist with preparation of W-2s, 1099s, and other tax-related documentation.
  • Assist with the administration of benefits (including claims reconciliation and drafting funding requests)
  • Help facilitate annual open enrollment process (including but not limited to, drafting enrollment and benefit education materials, updating internal postings, claims/transition of care, Cobra)
  • Administer monthly and bi-annual processes related to part-time status and insurance/benefit programs eligibility
  • Support implementation of new programs for employee wellness
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and billing breakdown spreadsheets (insurance plans, retirement plans, etc.) for accuracy and anomalies related to recent benefits changes.
  • Assist with monthly and annual tracking of 401k enrollment eligibility
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports
  • Additional tasks assigned by Human Resources Department, as needed
Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll administration or related accounting/HR function.
  • Proficient in payroll software systems (e.g., Paycom, ADP, Ceridian, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll tax filings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with integrity.

What you’ll be paid:

Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $28.00 - $33.00 per hour.


ATI provides full-time employees with a range of benefits including, bonus, 100% paid medical for employees, dental, vision, life insurance, voluntary benefits, and flexible spending accounts, matching 401k, profit-sharing, plus thirteen days of accrued PTO per year, eight (8) company paid holidays, including a Floating Holiday.
