What’s on offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced and energetic Cable Jointer HV/LV to join our growing program of works within the WA Utilities sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. We offer excellent employee benefits and pathways for further growth.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Perform HV/LV cable jointing and termination works in accordance with industry standards

  • Installation and maintenance of underground cable systems

  • Conduct cable fault finding, repairs, testing and maintenance activities

  • Assist with cable testing and commissioning activities

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, and technical documentation

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements

  • Complete quality documentation, testing records, and project reports.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Underground (Cable Jointing)

  • Minimum 3 years' HV/LV Cable Jointing experience

  • Western Power accreditation for HV & LV jointing (Preferred)

  • Experience with LV/HV cable terminations and joints

  • Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and procedures

  • Current C Class Driver's Licence and White Card

  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
