Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Digitizing Records Specialist to join our DMS Imaging Centers team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the high-volume preparation and scanning of physical records into electronic formats, ensuring 100% accuracy in document sequencing, and maintaining a high-speed data entry output of at least 10,000 KPH.
 

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Execute Full-Cycle Document Conversion: Perform critical document preparation tasks, including removing staples and sorting records, followed by high-quality scanning to transform hard copy files into precise electronic images.
  • Collaborate for Production Excellence: Work closely with Imaging Center personnel and supervisors to provide production updates and clarify job-specific requirements to ensure conversion objectives are met on schedule.
  • Maintain Operational Standards: Adhere to strict Imaging Center guidelines by following internal documentation tracking and maintaining a clean, organized work environment in compliance with organizational policies.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a production-oriented environment, specifically in document prep, imaging, or data entry.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency with PCs and computer-related products, with a proven ability to key at a minimum of 10,000 KPH (50 WPM).
  • Functional Ability: Proven ability to maintain record order/sequence with high attention to detail and the physical dexterity to manage long durations of repetitive tasks (sorting, filing, and boxing).
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

What We Offer

  • Salary details: $18.00 per hour.
  • Employment Type: This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity. Full-time roles with benefits may be offered after a one-year performance review.
  • Shifts: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • Location: 555 W Iron Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210.
  • Candidate Requirement: Identified candidate must complete and clear an Iron Mountain background check and drug test (including Marijuana) successfully prior to starting.
