About the Role

Inbound is where prospects raise their hand — and you're the first person from Envoy they talk to. As an Inbound BDR, you'll engage a high volume of leads across email, live chat, and phone, quickly understand what they're trying to solve, and turn the right ones into qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. It's a role that rewards fast thinking, sharp organization, and genuine curiosity about the people you're talking to.

"Act like an owner" is one of the values we hold most closely on the Sales team. We're looking for people focused on their own growth, energized by team-based competition, and resilient in pursuit of their goals — all grounded in integrity and personal accountability.

This is a launchpad. Envoy invests heavily in developing its people, and Inbound BDR is the first step on a clear path toward our Outbound BDR and Account Executive roles. If you want to build a sales career on a strong foundation, this is where it starts.

This is a hybrid position that requires at least 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

You will
  • Engage and qualify a high volume of inbound leads across chat, email, and phone

  • Generate qualified opportunities and clean handoffs for Account Executives

  • Develop deep product knowledge so you can connect Envoy to a prospect's actual needs

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support & Success to create great experiences for current and prospective customers

  • Contribute to team processes and share what's working — and grow into mentoring newer reps as you ramp

You will work with
  • Salesforce, Outreach, Nooks and Qualified to manage your pipeline and inbound conversations

  • A supportive team and structured onboarding designed to get you productive fast

You have
  • 6 months–1 year of post-grad experience or internship in a customer-facing field (sales, support, hospitality, recruiting, retail, etc.), and a desire to break into tech sales

  • High sense of integrity and personal accountability

  • Excellent time management, organization, and autonomy

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills

  • Intellectual curiosity and ambition to build a foundation in sales

By applying for this position, you acknowledge that you have fully read and understand the job requirements and received the Envoy Privacy Notice for applicants, which is linked here. Completing this application requires you to provide personal data, such as your name and contact information, which is mandatory for Envoy to process your application. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
